Gustavo Tolosa-

Argentine-American pianist, Dr. Gustavo A. Tolosa,

is in frequent demand as a performer, teacher, master class presenter and competition adjudicator across the United States. He has presented concerts, master classes and lectures in the United States, South America, Europe, China and Singapore.  As a member of the Music Teachers National Association, he is often invited to speak to both teachers and students at national and state conventions.

 

 Dr. Tolosa earned his Doctorate in Piano Performance & Literature from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York. His mentors include Barry Snyder, Nelita True, Natalya Antonova and Seymour Bernstein. He has taught and administrated at Abilene Christian University, Texas Women’s University, University of Redlands, Eastman School of Music and the Hochstein School of Music, among others.

 

Dr. Tolosa is the founder and director of the Dallas Music Academy

www.DallasMusicAcademy.com where he teaches students of all ages and levels. He coaches High School students preparing for auditions to enter university programs, and he coaches piano teachers who wish to polish their teaching skills.

Another passion of his besides teaching and performing, is the healing power of a plant-based diet as prescribed by Dr. John McDougall, MD.  After losing over 70 pounds and transforming his health with Dr. McDougall's program "The Starch Solution",  Dr. Tolosa became the official host of Dr. McDougall's weekly webinars which air live every Thursday and are free and open to everyone. Dr. Tolosa also works with celebrity Chef AJ hosting her plant-based webinars twice a month.
